Who We’re Building For
We’re a young firm, and we’d rather be straight about that. We don’t manage anyone’s money today. The early research is done. Now we’re building the firm around it, including the regulatory authorisation that has to come first. Schwarz Quant is being built for a particular kind of investor, and here’s who they are and why they shape how we work.

Institutional Investors
Pension funds, sovereign and public institutions, and large asset managers answer to people who depend on us: beneficiaries, boards, regulators. We can’t afford to be wrong in ways we can’t explain.
That’s the standard we hold our research to. If a conclusion can’t be explained step by step and tested against the evidence, it isn’t finished. Institutions also think at scale, and so do we, so the questions we study are the ones that matter when the amounts are large and the time horizon is long.

Family Offices, Endowments & Foundations
These investors are looking decades ahead, sometimes past their own lifetimes. Often the money has a purpose beyond itself: a family’s legacy, a university’s future, a cause that has to be funded year after year.
We understand that kind of patience. It’s the same patience research needs. Most of what we study doesn’t pay off in a quarter, and we’re not interested in pretending otherwise.

Private Investors
Some individual investors have experience and have done their homework. They don’t want slogans, they want to see the reasoning, and they ask hard questions. We like those people.
For now, that’s what our Insights are for. They show how we think, where we’re unsure, and what our methods can’t tell you. You can judge the thinking for yourself before anything else happens between us.
(Any future offering will be limited to investors who qualify under the rules that apply to them.)

Insurers
An insurer’s promise is a long one. The money has to be there when claims come, sometimes many years later, and it has to hold up in markets that aren’t kind. Regulation shapes every decision, and rightly so.
That’s why risk sits at the centre of our work. We spend our time on a simple question: what happens to a portfolio when the conditions its models assume stop being true?

Where we are today
The foundational research into untapped business opportunities is complete. We’re now moving from research to building: the team, the structures and the regulatory authorisation that must be in place before any investor can be brought in.
We won’t take anyone’s capital until that groundwork is done, and we think that’s the right order.
If you’re an investor, partner or institution who thinks in long horizons and would like to follow our progress or talk about what we’re building, we’d welcome the conversation.
